Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conversation aright I will show the salvation of God.” Psalm 50:23
The word salvation means: liberty, deliverance, prosperity: – safety, saving grace in every area of life.
There is the initial salvation or born-again experience which is free, however in order to experience God’s blessings of abundant life the Bible tells us is available to us we have to live in obedience to His commands. This did not change from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant; obedience is what opens the doors to God’s blessings.
Video Devo – Consider Your Ways
Watch the video to get the entirety of the message and be blessed.
In the year of harvest and double blessings decreed by the very Biblical year, a year when God wants to open doors, know that when those doors of blessings open we must be ready if we are to reap the blessings that await us. If not, another season will pass us by in which blessings of God could not come on us in the way He would like to pour them out.
Psalm 50:16 and 17 says: “But to the wicked God says: “What right have you to declare My statutes, or take My covenant in your mouth, seeing you hate instruction and cast My words behind you?”
The Prophet Haggai told the people of God, “You have sown much, and bring in little; you eat, but do not have enough; you drink, but you are not filled with drink; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who earns wages, earns wages to put into a bag with holes. Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways!” Haggai 1:6-7
The Hebrew Word for “ways” and conversation” are the same “derek” meaning conduct, a road, a course of life or mode of action.
Beloved, the way that we show up in life will determine our harvest season. We can pray and declare and decree but if we don’t walk uprightly before the Lord in all of our ways – thought, word, deed then God is not obligated to release His blessings. In order to enter a harvest of abundant blessing you must consider your ways and order your conduct right in all things, then the goodness of God will overtake you.
