a little about Krista
Krista Pettiford is an author, preacher, Bible teacher, and speaker who encourages women to stay rooted in Christ through every season of life. Through Scripture-rooted teaching, personal testimony, and practical wisdom, she helps women deepen their relationship with God, strengthen their faith, and navigate life’s changing seasons with clarity, grace, and confidence in God’s leading.
Krista is especially passionate about helping women discern the spiritual seasons of their lives and understand how God uses every season to shape, prepare, and position us for His purposes. Her message reminds women that calling is not simply about what we do, but about walking closely with God and becoming all He created us to be—season by season.
With warmth, transparency, and wisdom shaped through years of walking with God through changing seasons, Krista brings a compassionate and relatable voice to women navigating midlife and life-altering transitions.
She understands what it feels like when life does not unfold as you imagined, and she encourages women to remain anchored in God’s truth, trust His timing, and move forward with faith and confidence in His goodness.
Krista is the founder of the Called Conference, the Called Collective, and Krista Pettiford Ministries. With nearly two decades of leading women’s and prayer ministries in her local church, she has spent years encouraging women through biblical teaching, discipleship, and prayer. Whether through speaking, writing, podcast conversations, YouTube teachings, books, or resources, her heart is to help women know God, grow in their faith, and stay rooted in Christ as they walk through every season of life.
Krista is also the author of Brave Change: Navigating Unexpected Seasons in Midlife with Faith, Courage, and Grace (InterVarsity Press, releasing January 2027), a book that encourages women to trust God through life’s unexpected transitions and discover His faithfulness in every season.
Above all, Krista desires to remind women that no season is wasted in God’s hands. Even in seasons of uncertainty or transition, God is still present, still faithful, and still unfolding a beautiful purpose for their lives.
