Hey Beloved, I’m back with Episode 28 the Holy Calling Podcast, formerly L.A.B. Chats.
Today I’m sharing the importance of knowing the difference between your purpose and your mission.
How they work together with who God called you to be to give you a better understanding of how to fulfill your God-given calling.
Psalm 137
says, You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden fromYou, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned forme, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand. Psalm 139:13-18
When God formed you He made you so that your identity – who He called you to be is directly connected to your purpose – the reason He called you – to fulfill your part in His plan, through the good works He called you to do – your mission.
You’ll want to get a pen and notepad out so you can take notes.
