The Power Of A Good Name

Hey Beloved, in this episode of Called For More Podcast I’m sharing biblical teaching on the power of a good name.

Proverbs 22:1 says, “A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, Loving favor rather than silver and gold.”

A few things that are in a good name are honor, character, reputation, report, and authority.

Each of the things makes a good name. But when a person’s name is associated with the opposite of any of these good things it makes for a bad name.

I heard the Spirit of the Lord speak this prophetic word of encouragement over the body of Christ:

I will change the things associated with your name. The reputation that precedes you and what people associate with your name and that of your family will be blessings instead of curses. The mistakes of the past will no longer be what people associate your name with. But the favor and blessing of the Lord that opens doors will be what people think of when they hear your name.

Someone you would not have thought is going to speak on your behalf to remove confusion, misunderstandings, gossip, the lies, and negativity that has been connected to you.

God is going to do it through your prayer and humility.

You won’t have to defend yourself. Just stay in a position of humility and prayer and watch God do it for you.

He is going to restore your good name.

When people think of you or hear your name they will associate your name with blessings, favor, honor, character, reputation, report, and authority.
