Change can be a good thing. Things like getting a promotion, finding a new relationship, a new church home, or a new job that is your dream job are good things.
But change can also be difficult when it’s something like losing a job, taking on a new role in a job or ministry, leaving a church, leaving a city, or ending a relationship. Or having children, your children growing up and you becoming an empty nester, health issues, death, loss, or financial issues.
In my latest video, I’m sharing…
the importance of embracing seasons of change. In this teaching, I cover the spiritual seasons of life, the intersections of change, and the importance of our choices when we are at an intersection of change. Plus, the benefits of choosing rest over worry and embracing change with an open heart, open mind, and open hands.
Most people resist the change they do not choose. And that’s good and necessary at times but the Bible says, “time and chance happen to them all,” (Ecclesiastes 9:11) so we are all going to face change.
The word time in the verse above is the Hebrew word yom. It is the word used for a chronological span of time.
Chance is a word that implies change. Chance means a one-time occurrence or an event, expected or unexpected that when it occurs can change the trajectory and the course of your life.
The problem with resisting change is that you can miss out on the good God wants to do when you invite Him into your circumstances and embrace change.
If you are facing change, this teaching will encourage and equip you to embrace your season of change in a way that invites God in and sets you up to experience the beauty, blessings, purpose, and lessons God has ordained for you.
