I promised I would do my weekly review for the Busy to Balanced Challenge, so here it goes… If I had to sum up last week’s experience in one word it would be “CLARITY.”
As I slowed my pace and instead of watching HGTV, took the time to be quiet before the Lord in my evenings, I had time to reflect. As I looked inside at my heart and around at my life I became CLEAR about many things but the main thing was what I’m doing or not doing about having the life I say I want.
In my reflections was HONESTY about the commitment of faith and work to have the life I desire. The Lord said He will give us the desires of our hearts IF we commit our ways unto HIM (Psalm 37:4,5).
In my honesty there was also CONVICTION, the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes in our busyness we neglect the important things in life and the Holy Spirit has to nudge us back on the right track.
God has a personal plan of promise for me, but sometime life gets so busy that we forget what we are fighting for or we simply get tired of fighting the good fight of faith, and we end up just going through the motions. But God…
In my reflections I remembered to keep STANDING IN FAITH for the promises God made to ME personally and by faith to aim all that I do and say at the targets of destiny and eternity.
I also ate green as planned, walked on my lunch break, and got some reading done. This week I plan to work on converting my book to an e-book with the time I save from not watching TV.
How was your week? You can share on Facebook
Blessings,
Krista: follower of Christ
