Every woman has a shero inside of her just waiting for the right reason and the right season to come out.
When I think of the women who made history in the Bible, the sheros of the Bible if you will… I think of the women that did not quit but continued to trust God during their hard seasons. Some, against insurmountable odds, chose to continue to believe God. God always came through for them and He will do the same for you.
Hebrews 11:11-12, 31 and 35 says,
“By faith, Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore…… By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe when she had received the spies with peace…… Women received their dead raised to life again.”
Hebrews list doesn’t include Ruth, Naomi, Esther, Deborah, Mary, or others like the Shunamite woman, the women with a little meal and oil left that chose to feed the prophet, Elizabeth, Mary’s cousin.
In my latest Youtube video, I’m sharing a prophetic word for March 2022. Friday night I heard the Lord say, “Now is the time to believe, be established, and win your battles.”
When I looked up the words in Scripture, I found the story of the people of Moab with the people of Ammon, and others came against King Jehoshaphat and Judah in battle in n 2 Chronicles Chapter 20.
Jehoshaphat was afraid. But He chose to seek the Lord.
Then he and all Judah went on a fast. In the midst of their fast, the king brought the Lord, himself, and the people of God into remembrance of what God had already done and what He said he would do for them.
Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel, and he said,
“Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow go down against them… You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.” (2Chronincles 20:14-17)
Right before the battle, Jehoshaphat said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” (2Chronicles 20:20)
That day they went out to battle and won without a physical fight. There were so many spoils it took them three days to collect them all. (verse 25)
Our weapons are not carnal but mighty through God!
It wasn’t just that they fasted and prayed. They established themselves in their faith in God and believed the word that was spoken to them. This is how sheros win their battles! On our knees! In prayer, trusting in God, believing in His prophetic word spoken over us, and that He will come through for us even when we are afraid! (1Timothy 1:8)
Whatever battle you are facing, establish your faith in God and BELEIVE the prophetic words that He has spoken of you, then stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
Cheering you on in your calling!
