Life can get so busy that we can lose focus on the important things in life.
If you belong to Christ so does your life and your time but sometimes our reality doesn’t match our calling. God has called us to enjoy life His way. But first we have to know what His plan for our life is as individuals and members of His body, and then live our lives according to His design.
This is how we bear MUCH FRUIT!
TODAY is my 40th birthday so I’m thinking it’s time for me to do a reevaluation of what I’m spending my time on to make sure I’m making room for my God-given priorities and goals and the people and things that matter most to me. Even though I know God’s plan for my life and I’m living according to what I know (mostly) it can only help to deal with the little foxes because they’re the ones that spoil the vine.
My FREE gift to you is my NEW From Busy to Balanced 28 Day Life Reset Workbook.
Sign up to get your copy of the workbook and START the Challenge
- Reestablish your commitment to make time for the important things in life
- Identify your priorities and goals
- Identify the distractions that keep you from focusing on them
- Create a plan to deal with your distractions
- Write out a vision for your life with a daily plan for your priorities and goals
- Learn how to do a weekly review so you can maintain a balanced life
Our first priorities should be those things that God says are important, such as spending time with the Him in prayer, fellowship and Bible study, time caring for you yourself and time with family, maintaining healthy habits, as well as any other goals you may have that are related to God’s purpose for your life and wellbeing.
We all have priorities and goals we want to work on more but because of distractions many people don’t use the time they do have to focus on the important things. This challenge will show you how to reclaim your time and focus on the important things first.
Join me on my journey as I get rid of time wasters and get back into balance, spirit, soul, and body.
Note: The our spirits connect us to God, our souls connect us to God and people, and our bodies connect us the earth and the world we live in along with the people we live with.

Krista: 1st of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GORGEOUS!!! You are FAVORED @ FORTY because you look magnificent. (Smile) I just wanted to say thank you SO much for pioneering this challenge. For me, it couldn’t have come at a better time with all of the changes that are taking place in my life at this very moment. I just told a friend of mine at work yesterday that I wanted to do something BIG, something DIFFERENT and something that could pull me out of the weary mood I’ve been in. She mentioned going to the strip club (because they know I’m celibate and she thought that’d be different) and another one suggested getting a tattoo. Everyone in the office just broke out laughing because they KNOW ME and they can’t see how a warm blooded woman can be celibate for so long. They are so funny to me because they try EVERYTHING in the book to get me to be “NORMAL” as they call it. What they fail to realize is, I am at peace with the decisions I’ve made to “WAIT”. Anyway, I explained that I’m speaking of something DEEPER. I thought of things that I need to start doing and complete doing. I thought of long lost goals that I used to dream of that I’ve allowed to fall by the wayside because I feared, it may be too late. I’m 38 and was thinking, “Wow, in November of next year, I will be 40.” I have got to get myself reigned back in and stop letting my consequences dictate my moods, my outlook on life, how I perceive myself and my vigor for life PERIOD. I thought about this ALL day at work and I came home, looked on Facebook for a sec and saw YOUR POST re: this challenge and INSTANTLY my soul’s cry was comforted with the answer befitting it’s need. SO I humbly and graciously say THANK YOU for taking the time and utilizing your own experiences to birth this stepping stone that will change many people’s lives. I further pray that GOD BLESSES YOU in ways unimaginable for your transparency, willingness to share and devotion to HIS WILL for your life. I can’t wait to walk through this challenge DAILY and experience the inevitable change that’s sure to come. I will share this with others who are wandering around in their life wondering what to do next. (Smile) YOU ROCK KRISTA!!!!

Nikki, Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I was just saying to the Lord this morning that if only a few do this challenge I will do it with my whole heart because I need it just as much as anyone else. This challenge is really about bringing change and starting revival where it should begin – in our hearts and our homes.
The Lord’s blessings to you and I love forward to sharing this journey with you. It is my prayer that you WILL see the changes you’ve been praying for.
With Christ love,
Krista
