L.A.B. Chat #10 with Theresa Warren-Johnson

Theresa Warren Johnson is a mom, a family counselor, a Bible teacher, the leader of Rock Solid Women’s Ministry at Rock Church San Diego, and founder of GIRL Talk (God in Real Life) Ministries.

Theresa and I met volunteering to serve at another woman’s conference about three years ago.

During our chat, Theresa and I talked about learning to lead by walking in faith and serving others. When you trust God and allow Him to lead you, you may very well end up leading others.

Serving in God’s kingdom can be likened to sowing seeds in one season that will spring up as flowers in due season to create a beautiful garden. This is a picture of Theresa’s life and it reminds me a lot of my own life as well as many others.

Theresa and I also talked about trusting the Lord by faith for His direction when He doesn’t show you His full plan.

Maybe you’ve been serving the Lord faithfully in your church or trusting Him in a certain area of your life for a while but have yet to see the results you thought you would, and you don’t know what to do next. If you don’t grow weary while doing good you will reap if you faint not, (Galatians 6:9). Your path will become clearer as you continue to trust Him and do good!

Beloved, I’m sure that as always, you will see a little bit of yourself in Theresa’s story, and be encouraged by er story of uncompromised faith.
