Kim Vinyard is a wife, a mom, and a hard-working strong Christian woman with a beautiful testimony. Kim and I dared to share our me too stories on a Facebook live recording for the podcast.
Kim life was restored.Kim made me brave! Because she told her story I had the courage to tell mine too.
I hadn’t planned on sharing my story but as Kim shared her story as part of her testimony I was compelled to share mine. Our interview just so happened to be scheduled around the time the #metoohashtag became very popular last week.
It was so freeing to finally be able to talk about what happened to me and how it affected me openly after all these years with a different perspective knowing that I am healed and God has made it all work together for my good. He can do the same for you.
Our conversation blessed me, and I hope it will bless you. God’s love, acceptance, and beauty shapes us into who He called us to be not what the enemy planned. Our God gives beauty for ashes and replaces our pain with grace and glory!
Kim owned her own floral design business for almost 6 years, she mainly did weddings and special events. However, the Lord led her to lay that down for a far more important job – raising her boys. Looking back, Kim said her life’s work has really all been “wife-ing” her husband of 20 years and raising her 3 sons, ages 21, 19 and 14. Two of her own and one her godson.
Kim’s mission: to be a source of God’s love to others.
