My guest for episode #4 is Sarah Lopez
A wife and mom of five young children and owner of Freshly Prepped that she started by prepping meals in her kitchen with one of best friends.
I met Sarah at a retreat I spoke at this year. We hit it off immediately. She sponsored some of our meals, and they were amazing!
She and her husband opened Freshly Prepped Commercial Grade Meal Prep Kitchen to meet the needs of modern women that want to eat healthier and make healthy meals for their families but don’t always have time to cook healthy meals. What started out as a way to change her eating habits and take better care of herself has grown into a full-time business in the San Diego area.
We chatted about how God restores and gives us back even more than we ask for when we give our lives fully to Him.
During our chat, Sarah shared how almost losing her marriage brought her back to Jesus, an intimate relationship with Him, not just religion, and how her husband came to know the Lord during that time. God healed her marriage and knit them together again in Christ before giving them the huge blessing of their thriving business.
We also talked about being a good steward of what God gives us season by season and how she balances a life with family, motherhood, and running her business with her husband by making time for God each day. Her story may make you cry but it will also inspire you to be all that God has called you to be in His time and in His way!
Whatever your story, I’m sure you will see a little bit of yourself in Sarah’s story and find common ground in God’s sacred unifying grace.
Sarah’s motto/ life verse:
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden… let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14, 16)
