My guest for episode #7 is Cynthia Harbor.
She’s a proud wife and mom, a writer and a blogger, a social change agent, mentor, IT professional, special needs advocate, daughter of the King, and a champion for women and girls.
Cynthia is the founder of the Faith.Hope.Love. Mom Conference based in Atlanta that promotes self-care for mom.
She is also the founder of Rethinking My Story Book Club which focuses on books that remind us of who we are as God’s daughters.
I met Cynthia online and I’m so glad.
She’s awesome and I look forward to connecting with in person one day. I had the honor of being one of her first guest authors. Since that time the book club has taken off!
Cynthia and I chatted about taking off the superwoman cape, not having to be perfect, and creating a work/life balance through making time for self-care.
As much as she does, she’s found a way to balance it all out by making time to care for herself and using her gifts and abilities to help the people and the causes that are most important to her. We are very similar in this way.
If you’ve ever come to a place of burnout and had to rethink your story and get clear about what’s important and for that matter what not, you will find common ground with Cynthia. And, I’m sure as always you see yourself in her story if you look through the eyes of God’s sacred unifying grace.
