God has been doing some amazing new things so I thought it would be nice to share my them all with y’all.
I’m preparing to do a conference with a great group of women that happens this weekend. I just completed my new book entitled Prettiful, Changing the Garments of Your Heart.I have a new apparel and jewelry line called Beautiful Feet Co.We are in full-blown ministry mode at my local church. A new year begins and we start all over again, doing women’s ministry to touch lives and draw women closer to Christ. I’m still doing a monthly Bible study at the YWCA San Diego and I’m still believing God for my family’s total restoration. They keep me on my face and humble before God.
Prettiful
Is a 31 day devotional that begins with a discussion about why we women spend so much time prettifying our outward person and leave our inner- person a wreck, clothed in all manner of things God never intended for us to wear.
It’s ends with 31 daily decrees (what God says about us) 31 devotionals (what that looks like and how to wear it or take it off) and 31 declarations (changing the garments of your heart). We can and should make ourselves look pretty.
That’s what women do. I love to get dressed up but if you don’t take of those old garments covering your heart and clothe yourself in the beautiful garments God has provided for you than you’re your inner-person will never match the pretty you portray on the outside and sooner or later what you look like on the outside won’t be able to cover the inner-mess.
It’s an awesome book and I believe it will bless and help every women that reads it! It will be available in stores and online April 15th and available for pre-order in March.
Beautiful Feet Apparel
I have a line of apparel, jewelry and more coming out mid-March. I’m excited about not only the cute pieces but what it represents – sharing the gospel! More info on that later when we launch.
The Conference
Is about healing the hearts of women. It’s entitled “Heal Our Hearts Lord” featuring ‘real women, real stories” with testimonies of heart/emotional healing.
There will also be teaching and preaching by women of God and mental health professionals to discuss the reasons why we hold on to hurts and how to continue to live free after the break through.
It is being hosted my Karen Shelton-Jackson. If you are in the San Diego area I invite you to be a part of this wonderful weekend of healing women’s hearts. It’s FREE! You can sign up at www.athisfeet.org
Women’s Ministry
I’m believing God to do wonderful things with the women in our church this year. If you are in need of women’s ministry and a time to fellowship with other women who are passionate about Christ please send me an email and I will put you on our list.
We meet once a month, usually every second Saturday at my church New Covenant Tabernacle for a time of worship, fellowship and ministry. Oh and there’s always good coffee and a few good treats.
It’s a time to build ourselves up in the Lord. We share, we cry, we laugh and grow. In March out topic will be Prayer – Praying God’s Word in Faith. Last year we did a retreat and it was awesome. This year we will be doing another one in the fall. More info later.
Outreach
I’m still doing Bible Study at the YWCA San Diego every first Tuesday of the month. I take Bibles in to the women that sign up for them each time I go.
I’ve had women ask if they can help purchase Bibles. I am in the process of setting up Gardeness Ministries so that whoever wants to can sow into the Bible donations. I’m believing God that I will be able to sow Bible into more women’s lives this year, not just at the YWCA but other women’s shelters.
A Word of Encouragement
Beloved, with all the good going on, it hasn’t stopped the enemy’s fight against me but I’m learning to submit to God, resist the devil and watch him flee. Submitting means to find out what God wants me to do in any situation and obey Him. Then I can resist than enemy because God backs up our obedience. What is God doing in your life this year? Don’t give up or quit because the enemy comes barking but press on for the Kingdom’s sake.
[…] so I hid the dream in my heart. Five years later, in 2015, I founded Gardeness Ministries after working with the YWCA in my local city to do vision board workshops and provide Bibles for the women living at their main location. […]
