I choose to respond with faith
I’ve been sharing a lot on Facebook live. Just in case you don’t follow me there I’ve decided to start uploading my videos to my YouTube channel. Yesterday I shared a quick video about how our responses to things that happen to us effect where life takes us, the paths we take.
After church, I was reflecting on the goodness of God these past few of years as I’ve faced crushing circumstance and different trials. Some people may not have been able to see things in the light of God’s goodness, but I chose to respond in faith to the things that came my way. It wasn’t easy. I had to make intentional decisions to trust God and craft my response to the issues of life prayerful and thoughtful.
Life is 20 percent what happens to us and 80 percent how we respond to what happens to us.
We get to choose how we respond. If you choose faith God can turn what the enemy meant for your bad into something good and beautiful and fruitful. You can learn lessons from your mistakes, and even the mistakes and shortcomings of others. If you respond in fear, which can mascarade as many things – worry, doubt, angry, unbelief – what the enemy meant for evil will likely manifest and create unnecessary obstacles that you must then overcome. Whatever happens in life, if you choose to respond with faith, God will see you through and bring you into His good plan for you.
In this video a share a bit of my personal testimony. I hope you are encouraged and edified!
