God’s Dream for You
“God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11
When we are born-again we become new creations, beautiful if the eyes of the Lord, with glory ready to be unfolded in time.
God wants us to focus on the reality of our identity in Him and the good plan He has for us. However, instead of focusing on the unfolding plan hidden in the heart, many women spend their time focusing on their past – who they were, what could have been, and what never have happened.
Instead of dwelling on the past, it is more profitable to renew your mind to who you are in Christ and what He has prepared for you now and in the future.
Forgiving Your Past and Move into Your Future
That God has a good plan for your may seem hard to believe if you are one that measures the promises of God by your own works and not His finished work on the cross. Accepting the reality that God has forgiven you and accepted you will help you to let go of your past regardless of how long you’ve been haunted by it. You can forgive yourself and by faith lay hold of the promises of God without condemnation or turning back.
Permission to Dreams
Unfortunately, too often something inside of us (or outside) makes us feel like we are not good enough for God’s best and His blessings. But when you learn to accept that He has a good and perfect plan for your life you gain the freedom you need to dream the big dreams that God placed on the inside of you and you can believe Him for the very best He has for you, without shame or apology.
Renewing Your Mind – Unlocking the Dream
Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” God wants you to think about who He says you are and His plan for your life until you believe it. Then dream without limits. Jesus said, “If you can believe, all things are possible,” Mark 9:23.
Working On Your Dream
Faith without works is dead. James 2:20
If God put His eternal plan in your heart and allowed you to dream it then you have work to do. Prepare yourself, call those things that be not as though they were and ready yourself to enter in. The Lord says, “ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end,” Jeremiah 29:11. Beloved, do your part and know that God has already done His, it only needs your faith in action to come to its expected end.
