Join me in March as I share from my new book Prettiful and we explore what it means to change the garments of our heart.
In this four-part series we will discuss:
- The garments of the heart – what we wear under our pretty veneer.
- What all women have in common – a desire to feel beautiful, be accepted and know we are loved.
- Changing the garments of your heart – Taking back your power to measure beauty by God’s standards, taking off the things that bind you and putting on your beautiful garments.
- Prettiful – When the inner-you becomes beautiful and merges with your outer-person it changes your mindset, mantra, and measurements.
When the book is ready for pre-order I will post a decree and a declaration from the book on my blog and on the social media sites I subscribe to: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter each day 31 days. You can also find my posts on Google+ and Pinterest.
(A decree is what God says about us in His Word and a declaration is a powerful statement we make to affirm and proclaim what God says about us.)
More About Prettiful
Looking pretty is a good thing but God wants us to know we are beautiful and live authentically. This can is possible when we know who we are in Him and change the garments of our heart.
So, before you being to 31 days of decrees, declarations and devotions we will go deeper so you understand how you should dress your heart.
Some garments are important to put on and why some are equally as important to take off.
Learn more about the heart and why it can make a pretty woman ugly and outwardly unappealing or ordinary woman beautiful in the eyes of the Lord and all who know her.
The cultural decay, the way society has made women feel, the lies we’ve accepted – which make us try to be picture perfect on the outside and spend little time improving our hearts.
The time and money we spend trying to look pretty when our hearts are ugly.
How and why it’s necessary for our generation of women to change the game and reestablish the God-ordained definition of beauty.
The Devotionals
Along with the daily decrees and declarations the book includes 31 devotionals designed to work like a make-over for your heart and soul. You will be challenged to take off any old, dirty garments you are still wearing from your past and even your present and clothe your heart in what God says about you.
The Challenge
During the 31 days the first seven people to follow along and repost or share each post on the day I post them will get a free copy of the Prettiful e-book!
You can follow my posts on social media using the hashtag #prettifulbook. Please use the hashtag when reposting so I can find your posts.
The book will be on sale in all online outlets: B&N.com, Amazon and iTunes and bookstores this summer.
