Hey Beloved, as you celebrate this Resurrection Sunday in the middle of a world-wide crisis, remember that things will get better. Just like Jesus, who went to cross but rose on the third day you, me, we as a nation and the world will rise again out of the crisis.
The Bible says of Jesus,
“Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2
Jesus made it through His darkest hour by looking ahead to the vision of His future the Father had set before Him. He is our example, and so let us “look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,” (Hebrews 12:2a).
Remind yourself that God has a good plan for you.
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
The Bible says, “without a vision, people give up,” (Proverbs 29:18).
While you are going through this crisis, in whatever way it is affecting you and your family, encourage yourself in the Lord by remembering what He’s shown you about your future and looking forward to the things you want to do when this is over.
Habakkuk 2:2-4 says, “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith.”
Take some time to revisit your vision and/or your vision board. If you haven’t yet written out what you believe God said you can be, do, and have, take some time to write your vision and begin working on your goals now.
